    Not much of an update, but hope to have our contract with the builder in to the bank today. Once we do that, they do an appraisal. Then its go time. Based off the budget numbers we've been given, I believe we'll go ahead and finish out the bonus.

    We're doing wolf/sub zero as well. Cove dishwasher is still up in the air. Bosch has really great reviews. I'd like to keep it all the same "brand" but who knows. Either way, both dishwashers will be the same. We're estimating $850-950 for the house construction only. Hoping be under that $850...

    Your house is going to be expensive. Our window quote for andersen 100 series was $30k. We'll likely go with the 400 series. Haven't seen the price on those. We aren't in the same time zone when it comes to the cost of your glass, much less the overall construction cost.

    Plans with foundation shown. Feels like it's real now. Final grade will be slightly different, but this is a baseline, based on existing elevation. I have done zero grading on the home site.

    Just got home from working out there. I got the dirt leveled and the pads placed. They're level, but slightly pitched so the water drains. Once they settle in for a few weeks, I'll fill the void with grout and broom finish. Went way smoother than I thought it would. I think they'll look sharp...

    My only comment is the amount of steps going from the garage to inside the house. I'm only noticing because I was asked how many steps I want. I said one, meaning pad, then step up into the house. Now I'm wondering if they thought I meant a step, then another step. BRB, sending email.
