When you don't live in the city, you have a septic tank. All of your solid waste settles in the inlet compartment and liquids go to the outlet. From there, it goes into field lines (leach fields as some call it). Where I live, there's a lot of rock so getting enough depth of soil for those lines...- pwtr02ss

Well, did not pass due to soil depth issues for field line foot print. They're only getting like 18-24" and they want 24"-30". Went out to the land to grab the leftover waterline materials so they don't ruin or get damaged. Casey brought a trailer to make it easier. Conduit work looks good, temporary pole looks good, more grade work done. At this point, I'm thinking we may actually have enough cut to balance the shop...- pwtr02ss

$200 hook up fee paid for electric, just waiting on the inspector to sign off on it. Yeah, they have to verify grounding all that. I bought the assembly so I know it's up to code. Luckily my guy is an electrical contractor so he can get the inspection done under his license. Just got off the phone with my excavation guy. We passed inspection to allow back fill. Once that's done, they come inspect again, then I'll get the stamp to have service connected. I'll have Steph go pay that fee when she's off on Friday so we have no delay. One step closer fellas- pwtr02ss

The rocky soil kills the teeth on the machine, small rocks get hung in the track, etc. Some guys I know have a rock trencher but it's mainly for solid rock. Everyone around here just digs it with a 12" bucket on a mini.- pwtr02ss
