    If you actually want fog lights, and not an extra set of driving lights, they really should throw a yellow light. Yellow doesn't create glare like white and blue do. joe

    Man, fluids AND THEN tint. Mechanicals before cosmetics- always. I always check the glovebox, console, Carfax report, whatever, for any contact info on the prior owner. If I get lucky, I'll call and ask questions about the vehicle. joe

    I've wondered about that too. The guess I've come up with is that maybe it was just simpler and/or cheaper to make fewer changes in the works. If Snap On made you buy new metric ratchets, but Mac let you use the SAE ratchets you already owned, whose tool truck would you be climbing into? joe
