[SOLVED] Help finding noise under the engine bay
If the pulley's bearing's going bad, colder weather could easily make the noise start. While everything's still cold, goose the engine a bit and see if the noise reacts. -and/or- If you can safely do so, put a stethoscope on the pulley, and listen. I've noticed that doors freeze closed much easier since GM eliminated the rain gutter and the roof over-hanging the door. That rubber door seal wrapping up and across, being exposed on the roof, is a problem. joe
