    Yes, I've seen that posted in another thread. We are saying that it should be a setting in the vehicle that you can disable. You shouldn't have to add a wire harness to disable auto start.

    I saw a picture (dealer image) of a closeup of the bowtie and it was illuminated. Either the edge/border or it was backlit. I've seen this on newer vehicles, mainly Mercedes. Is it possible to have this turned off or does it get power from the headlights/DRLs/etc?

    Sorry for the confusion. I’m referring to the push button on the handle. Each door has a button on the handle. They all work except the rear driver side door. The button doesn’t lock or unlock the vehicle but all the other buttons on the door handle work fine.

    Nice, you have a vehicle with almost 12k miles, it needs a new engine and they want you trade it in for something else, making even more money off of you. Bad engines and bad transmissions. I'm not sure that I want to look at GMs anymore.

    Not bad, but there should be a way to disable in the settings or it should be an on/off button and not a momentary button. Meaning, you press the button to disable and as long as you have it in the disabled position, it never turns back on.

    This is the dumbest feature I've seen in new vehicles. There needs to be a way to default this to OFF in every vehicle.

    Agree, nothing is perfect. Having an issue is one thing. Putting out a bad transmission with a poor design and known failure is not the same thing.
