    Question on verifying fob reset

    I had my 23 Denali fob stolen, so I had my spare and a new fob re-set at a local locksmith. Does anyone know how I can verify that the locksmith actually re-set the fob and didn't just program the new one to match the old one? Can I contact GM or my dealer to verify?

    OK update here: I bought the fob on line at Amazon for $50 (dealership wanted $300+). I had it programmed at a local locksmith for $90 (dealership wanted $200). I am happy!

    Someone stole one of my 2023 Yukon Denali key fobs. Is my only option to go to the dealer to have the other fob deactivated so that the stolen one won’t work either? Then I have to pay $500 for a new fob? Any suggestions appreciated

    I have tried to sell my 2003 suburban and have not gotten much love at $2500. One thing I would do if I were you is to put fabric tape on the seats that are ripped/worn. You can get auto upholstery tape on Amazon for $12. And it works awesome. PM me if you need a link to what I used

    temp and compass on mirror 03 suburban

    My 03 suburban has 292K miles on it and 4 months ago the compass and temp gauge on the mirror went out. 3 days ago it started working again.. I am very happy to have it back. Any ideas on what is going on?
