SOLVED 2007 Denali driver door popping against fender

I replaced the lower hinge on my 2011 and I have the same issue. It's a door alignment issue that I will deal with once the LA riots stop and life gets back to normal.

    Front drivers door alignment

I'm assuming you do this with the door closed right? If that's the case, how do you tighten the bolts without the door open.

    Fuel Pump Control Module

so yesterday I was doing some PM on my 2011 Tahoe and decided to run a test on all of the modules with my bi-direction scanner. A few codes came up but the most concerning for me were in the Fuel Pressure Control Module. (FPCM) The reason that these are concerning for me is I explore some very...

So, I'm wondering if 0w-40 is now good for the 6.2l's then wouldn't 5w40 be good for the 5.3l?

    Valvoline Restore & Protect experiment

Your Tahoe was built on April 2011, you should have the new valve cover however, the only sure way to know is that you need to remove the driver side cover and look at it.

    Valvoline Restore & Protect experiment

Look at your driver's side door jamb sticker on the upper right hand top corner and it will show the build date. For example, mine is 11/10

I too have a 2011, built in November 2010 and it DID NOT have the updated valve cover. I replaced the cover and now I have no more oil loss as I did before.

    Fuel pump PM replacement question

My 2011 former Border Patrol Tahoe has approximately 133000 miles and over 7000 engine hours on the clock. Unfortunately, I do not have any service records and I have no idea if the fuel pump was ever replaced. My question is would you replace the pump as a PM item?

Not a chevy but my wife's VW Jetta needs new front brakes, and the dealer quoted me over $700. 00.. Rockauto has pads and rotors for $90.00 for both right and left needless to say I'll be doing a break job myself.

Help me to understand what I'm reading with a P219A

On the P219 code I have checked and double checked everything and can't seem to find anything. The P442, (Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Small Leak Detected) which just popped up should be a fairly easy fix once I get my smoke machine hooked up.
