New husky craftsman and kobalt is near total CRAP. Near all of it is made in China to some really bad specs.
Some new Craftsman wrenches have earned the name lobster claw.

I guess so. This thing should last me forever though. Actually that us why so many of the old companies went bankrupt. Once you buy a vise I mean you just have it. It doesn't really go anywhere or get worn out technically.
I also been working on filling the missing sockets I had...
Hell, I don't know.
It seems almost like people collect them. Over on Garage Journal there is a whole thread like a million pages long about vises. People get a real hard on finding ones from he 50's LOL
I looked on Craigslist daily and tried to find something cheap, but people were wanting...
Been wanting a vise for a while now.
Bought this beast today.
7 inch with lifetime warranty.
Made in Taiwan. Not China.

So this project has been put on hold for now.
Nothing new has happened, except I did finally get my new custom tag in from the DMV.
Of course I can't post it on here or all the rapists and molesters from TYF will look me up.
Tons of car waxes are like that now too. Some just don't even exist. In the old says you could use a wax to remove tar and glue deposits. New stuff can't without use of mild abrasives. Old stuff smelled like lantern fuel lol
LOL
In all honesty I had the same problems with your pictures. Hahahahaha
It's just when the pot is large people want to see entrants make an effort. When I used to lure sponsors and all the reps from the companies were watching the entries I wanted to make sure that people put forth an extra...
Lol
Nah.
I understand where you are coming from. I have had mildly lifted trucks before, on this I just don't have a desire to do it. I don't know what it is. It honestly feels so high to me after I drive the 2009 that's been lowered as it is.

The old jounce bumpers for the rear suspension got DEEP cracks in them, and the top of them rotted off. I supposed this is how my speakers look too LOL
The replacements are off the 2009 Suburban from when I took them off after lowering it.
