“I was never contacted by the dealer or GM as a follow up. I was surprised at no follow up - I thought GM would want to know why a customer was so dissatisfied?”
Surveys are just to show their boss that they’re trying. I stoped wasting my time on surveys years ago.
The ‘25 is not kick to open like previous. Now it is a proximity sensor. Even more sneaky. You would think this would be standard on the hc, not. You have to buy rear seat video screens, technology package.
I just played with the air suspension/service mode. I put tahoe in 4 low, which allows max height, then selected service, this gives me a locked icon on the dash. I feel comfortable sliding under the truck.
Gm supposedly addressed the lower end manufactureing issues on the ‘25s. This still leaves the Dfm concerns on the top and that won’t go away until Dfm goes away.
I’m going to pile on. I had a ‘24 tahoe 6.2 and traded into a ‘25 3.0. All the previous posts on this are right on. I’ll add one, the 3.0 idles significantly smoother than the 6.2. Very glad I made the change.
I for one am not going to accept a 1/20 chance of catastrophic engine failure on the freeways of major metro areas, risk/reward. $90k to put myself/family in a position like that. The foot dragging and remedy are criminal. We owners/previous owners will have our day in court.
