No longer seeing speed limit info in gauge cluster and HUD

Yes, you need some level of onstar data service to receive speed sign and traffic info. The onstar people are very evasive in their answers as to what plan gives you what. My suggestion is start with their cheapest plan and see what you get.

    6.2 Engine Replacement

This whole 6.2 gas and now 3.0 diesel thing is getting ridiculous. I didn’t spend 90k for a loaner.

The way I’m reading it is all l87 ever made are an engineering design failure.

2025 Yukon Denali first 1700 miles

Agree completely. I’ll add the fuel filter change is extremely easy. Also get a green diesel fuel cap from Amazon, with two filler ports next to each other it just adds another barrier to putting the wrong fluid in the wrong hole. Very expensive mistake.

    GM dropping CarPlay

I really like CarPlay in my ‘25. Don’t use it allot but when I do it works/integrates seemlessly with the google based system.

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

Slight thread bend. I’m a ‘25 Tahoe babymax. I’m interested in finding some 3.0 forums, can you share which forums you track?

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

I really like the 3.0. I don’t hammer the throttle but acceleration from a stop is maybe quicker than the 6.2. Freeway speeds, acceleration is a little less than 6.2. I think the 3.0 idles smoother than the 6.2. Love the diesel rattle sound, some may prefer the v8 growl. The 3.0 has another...

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

I bought a ‘24 HC Tahoe last year. My fault, I had no idea they were using Dfm with collapsible lifters leading to lifter/cam failures. Then the crank bearing issue came up. So the top end fails and now the bottom end fails. It’s all about percentages and I didn’t like the percentages I saw. I...

When using cruise, not a comfortable experience...

Sounds like Dfm. If L9 works, a Dfm disabler is what you need. Edit, they don’t make a disabler for 2025 models yet. L9 will get you by until they make a disabler.

2025 Yukon Denali first 1700 miles

I traded my ‘24 6.2 tahoe for a ‘25 3.0 diesel tahoe. Idles significantly smother, plenty quick and over 600 miles per tank. Yes, I lost money in the deal, but it was worth it.
