    On the eway last night and just happened to look at the temp. Just above normal. Well, now has new waterpump and new tensioner.

    It sounds like something is getting hot and failing. Of course! Is that truck under the bad ignition switch recall? Any lights on the dash when it is running? Have u moved the ignition relays and the start relays? Sorry a bunch of stuff pops in my head when these issues show there ugly a$$ head.

    The blown long wheel base 2.4 turbo has head problems but the other has a good motor but short wheel base with bad electronic steering.

    So for those that have seen or read about my work trucks that are 2023s one has a blown and or bad head and the other has bad electronic steering that's going bad. What's yalls opinion on buying them? Because I turn wrenches I see potential.

    U should be able to drive around with the gas cap loose. And see if it does the cut off at what ever the level was. If it shuts off with cap loose its not evap. If it doesn't shut off then it is. Easy test to do for a runability issue.

    Take the load off ur factory system and use this. Was just talking about this in another forum. Amazon.com and its cheap and comes with the ledger for where the wires go in the PCM harness. And or partsgeek.com
