    In view of what @petethepug posted, it makes sense from the dealer's perspective to cut the wire instead of just disconnecting it, as that will prevent anyone from simply reconnecting it and undoing the recall.

    I was stationed at Minot AFB, North Dakota and in my experience, warming the battery by using it isn't a reliable method. Having both a block heater and a battery blanket (an insulated heated wrap) was the ticket.

    It's not a 100% solution, but marine-grade Never-Seez (as in that particular brand name) has worked well in these situations for some friends.

    If you've never had issues with stock components before, you're likely not going to start having issues with stock replacement components now. Thanks for the compliment. It's kind of a PITA, but doing it myself is satisfying.

    To be clear, my comment is about the fineness of adjustment, not the adjustment range. So, "how much" isn't what I was responding about, it's that you can't get less than a half-degree change. Agreed, and I do my own alignments as well.

    The concept looks solid, but the lack of finer adjustment is a drawback (emphasis mine): "Provides +/- 1.5 degrees of camber & caster adjustment in 0.5 degree increments."

    Those are some good suggestions! FWIW, the spare belts I keep in my vehicles are used belts. They should have sufficient life left for emergency use when you change them out, you know they fit, and if you give one to someone else to help them out, you're not out of a new belt. LOL, this...

    2010 Tahoe High Beam question - SOLVED

    From looking up the part number, that is an LED flasher. You will have to trace the wiring and see if that is in the high beam circuit and interrupting it. I would remove any extraneous components and wiring no matter what.

    It is, but if you're replacing the struts, it doesn't matter if they get damaged during removal. A pick and some needle-nose pliers make quick work of the clips. I've never had to cut any lift struts in the numerous times I've changed them on any vehicle.
