    Useless Information

In Torque Pro. To be clear, I did not think there was any relevance for the Tech-2 in the interface between the dongle and the app.

    Nice lineup on the porch!

    Useless Information

Did you have to calibrate that? I've seen varying discussions about whether that's necessary for it to be accurate, so I haven't added that to my Torque display.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

There's no benefit in doing that. Oil is still flowing through the lifters because they're hydraulic, and the AFM portion will still be getting at least some oil flow, as the chambers aren't sealed from leakage.

Is this the normal front wheel stance/offset?

Here's my '13 LTZ on the stock 20x8.5" et31 Style 5416s with 275/55-20 Michelin Defender LTX M/Ss. The maximum section width is slightly outside the fender, but the tread is not.

The standard advice (and which is what I resorted to for my first and so far only trans filter change) is using a big pry bar to force the exhaust down to the point where you can edge the pan out. TBH, it's frustrating and messy, so I will likely undo the exhaust next time.

What Is The Thread Size of The Trans Cooler Fittings In The Radiator?

Thanks! The only parts I'm concerned about adapting are the female fittings in the radiator that the stock quick-connect fittings screw into. The original hard line ends will be gone from the equation, as I'll be cutting the original hard lines near where they make the turn in front of the...

That's exactly the type of fitting I'm looking for -- thanks!

Thank you for making the effort to measure for me!

What Is The Thread Size of The Trans Cooler Fittings In The Radiator?

Y'all, I am planning an installation of a remote spin-on filter, thermostat, and auxiliary cooler on my '13 LTZ. As of now, my intent is to use the stock hard lines from the transmission up to the point they pass the harmonic balancer, a couple of short sections of soft line, and then 3/8...

    Another Oil filter question

I started out using the Purolator Boss PBL12222 (PF48 equivalent), but am now using the Baldwin B7449 (PF63 equivalent).

You have a much higher opinion of the factory fog lights than I do. They're only 25W or so, and the pattern isn't great.

2013 Escalade ESV DOD full delete becoming rebuild

That's a great tip. I'd also suggest making a mark across the inspection hole in line with the mounting pads before you unbolt the converter from the flexplate, in case the converter shifts during the removal of the transmission.

What's a gooahj? :boxed: On another forum where I'm an admin, we don't have any policies against cursing, but I use the anti-cursing tool to rag on misspellings. People spelling "gauge" as "guage" get the latter auto-corrected to "gooahj." There are more, such as "bumper" being spelled as...

    GMT900 Engine removal options

This has been the way with various vehicles for me. I strongly suggest a 1/2" extension over a 3/8" for this, even if you're using 3/8" sockets, because the amount of twist you can induce in the extension while breaking fasteners loose is surprising.

    Painting frame

Note that if you don't care about colors, you can get industrial moisture-cure urethane (what POR-15 is) at paint stores that carry professional lines. You'll just have to choose between silver, grey, black, and maybe primer orange-brown. Rust Encapsulator (and others like it) are a...

    Oil pressure issue

I see someone beat me suggesting Lake Speed's videos to you! Unless you understand the specific chemistry of the oil and specific chemistry of an additive, it's best to not use an additive. You could easily end up unbalancing the chemistry and end up with way too much in one area, or end up...

I promised myself this would be one vehicle I wouldn't start modding, but my addiction got the better of me when I saw that Eibach sway bars were on sale (the Eibach site, Summit, and Amazon have the sale price, Jeg's does not). So, I have a front & rear set on the way from Summit. :)

Any Experiences with The LuK TorCon TC0017 Torque Converter?

Well, not to be combative, but I didn't mistake a reman for a TC0017 and I didn't pull that price out of my nether regions. The price apparently went up from when I typed that and when you looked.

Any Experiences with The LuK TorCon TC0017 Torque Converter?

Yes, it is. Look back at your own post. The title of the page has TC0017 in it twice. Dunno why it's not on the product page itself. If you're still concerned, RockAuto has it for $348.79 as of this writing. The RA page has both "TC0017" and "TorCon" on the "info" page.

To be clear if it wasn't earlier, this is not about closing hubs, it's about closing the customer service center (i.e. the "storefront") part of hubs. The hub where the customer service center I used to use six miles away is still operating.
