What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

There are plenty of $300 radios but they don’t have much more additional features and you do still need some sort of adapter harness. The Maestro RR seems to be the best quality one, but, obviously, at a cost.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I know. That’s what stopped me from doing it. The only reason I started thinking about it again is I just can’t stand the second screen I added for CarPlay. It functions fine but the look is just not what I want and two screens is so bright at night. I did find this radio that has pretty much...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Isn’t there a version that keeps the stock HVAC control? I feel like I’ve seen that in some pictures. I’d rather have that version. I don’t see it on their site. Do you still have to cannibalize the factory radio to make those work? Any adapters/harnesses needed like the Maestro RR?

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Which brand is that one? I almost like those but the no name brands all make me very nervous about sound quality and, I’m sure, there will be zero support for any issues.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah, the Escalade radio is VERY limiting. There is no depth unless you move the radio down to where the buttons are on the stock radio and you need a shallow radio to put it up top (which is nice those are commonly available now since everyone streams), but neither give you the room for a...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The pictures that I saw showed even using the single DIN and the radio all the way at the top, it still hit the shifter. I wanted a 9” screen until I found that out on the Cadillac Forum. I don’t really want to downgrade to a 7” screen but I hate the add-on CarPlay screen I added.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

From what I understand, the shifter hits the floating screens in an Escalade.

Seat cushion- OEM, Durofoam or eBay special?

    22781428 is the part number.

Seat cushion- OEM, Durofoam or eBay special?

I would double check that back pad part number because it was discontinued.

    K2 Running Boards on a 900?

My main reason for wanting to buy new boards is that my plastic doesn’t look that great. That chrome piece is supposed to come off, so you could probably get the edges wrapped if so and it would hold up.

Best Price on a Magnuson or In Stock?

Every time I see a used supercharger, the price they want for it is not worth the savings over just getting it new. Then I also know all the pieces are included and hoses aren’t cut too short (which I’d probably want to replace and not reuse anyway).

    K2 Running Boards on a 900?

You have K2 boards on yours? I was considering getting a set from the RST/Graphite Edition with the black trim piece if they fit or just buying a set of base Tahoe boards that are correct for a 900 that don’t have the trim piece at all. I haven’t found part numbers for the black trim piece ones...

    K2 Running Boards on a 900?

I’m wondering if anyone knows if K2 running boards fit on a 900? I did a Google search and found people saying they will, won’t, or need to be modified but didn’t say what the modification was and most of those answers were related to pickup trucks and not SUVs.

What to look for and avoid in buying a used 2015-2020

I’d buy a Ford before I’d buy a Jeep over a GM if long term reliability was the goal. The Pentastar is hot garbage and I’m pretty sure that ZF transmission isn’t so hot either.

What to look for and avoid in buying a used 2015-2020

The 6L80 needs the torque converter replaced with an aftermarket billet housing one, 6L90 converter, or LSA converter and properly tuned to survive, not just fluid changes.

    2008 Chevrolet Suburban discontinued hoses

Welcome to GM. You’d think you’d be safe buying their bread and butter vehicle. but they don’t support those either.

What to look for and avoid in buying a used 2015-2020

I would only consider 18-20 6.2L only. This body style has a lot of problems so be prepared to spend some money on maintenance and repairs. Avoid 15 and 16 like the plague, do NOT be temped by the cheap prices, there is a reason they’re so cheap. The 17s ride a little bit better, but 8 speed is...

    P2099

No, it isn’t. The code isn’t technically for oxygen sensors at all, but it is almost always caused by a very slightly skewed reading from one of the pre-cat sensors making the fuel trim incorrect at certain times. It’s a good idea to replace both at the same time when that happens to make sure...

    2013 Suburban Rack & Pinion

It is not adjustable, there is a spring and some other parts under that cap that keeps tension on the rack.

Start with both OEM pre-cat oxygen sensors and if it comes back it will need that bank of injectors.

I just searched eBay and found used control heads and radios that weren’t peeling for all of mine.

Best Price on a Magnuson or In Stock?

I haven’t. The LSA stopped being worth doing, in my opinion, years ago. You used to be able to do it for half the price of a Magnuson or Whipple, but now it’s only $1000 cheaper and the LSA doesn’t very long before it starts making noise and you have to replace it.

Best Price on a Magnuson or In Stock?

I will be doing a cam and AFM hardware delete regardless with a new Melling oil pump, timing chain, valve springs, ARP head bolts, etc. so everything else I’d worry about should be good.

Best Price on a Magnuson or In Stock?

I’ve talked myself into it and out of it multiple times already. It’ll be way cheaper than a Navigator, but it’ll also leave my (the other) Escalade as the slowest vehicle. I’m not sure if that’ll be an issue for me since I don’t drive it much, but still something to consider. As well as how...
