What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That’s for the 800 trucks, these take Dex VI.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes, the front differential is locked in auto 4Wd.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That’s a normal amount of metal on the drain plug for a transfer case. Transfer cases and manual transmissions will always have some. Big chunks are what you have to worry about.

    2007 Yukon 6.2 stalls/won’t start when hot

Every Blackstone report I ever did said something was bad, even on my 12k mile Corvette. I stopped doing them, there is absolutely no way every engine I’ve ever owned was on the verge of failure. Waste of money.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The back glass on my 08 is horribly scratched from the wiper blade. It is plain as day.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah, if one seized caliper and a pinion seal was all that went wrong with mine, I’d be the happiest man on earth.

    2013 VLOM

I just did a cam on the 2013, so I have this VLOM I no longer need with 26k miles on it. I replaced it only because the original one was leaking oil and the gasket was a few days out and the VLOM was available immediately. This s OEM, not aftermarket. The AFM was already turned off in the time...

Has anyone used a 24284077 Torque Converter (6L90?)

I used them years ago for a mail in tune on my old Trailblazer SS with a cam I bought from them. I hadn’t used them for anything in forever until I was looking for a place to get this truck tuned and not spend $500 for a tune on a stock truck plus the $100 in HPT credits. They not charged $100...

Has anyone used a 24284077 Torque Converter (6L90?)

If you’re going to replace transmission, I wouldn’t replace the converter now because it will essentially be wasted. I’m not totally sure if you can even put CTS-V calibrations into the truck TCM, but if you can, I wouldn’t think it would be ideal. I would get a custom tune for the truck. If...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Maybe I just don’t have them adjusted up high enough then. It didn’t seem like I could go much higher without blinding all oncoming traffic. We did occasionally get high beamed when cresting hills but that’s just physics. My XTS has the headlights that move side-to-side, they’re nice, but I...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Why do people like the “razor sharp” cut off line? The Morimoto projectors I used on our old Yukon had that and I hated it, it was pitch black above it at night and you couldn’t see anything. I thought it was very unsafe.

Fox 985-02-018 Coilovers and GM 85669840 Rear Air Shocks

I have decided to sell my Fox 985-02-018 Coilovers and GM 85669840 Rear Air Shocks setup. These fit 900 and K2 1500 SUVs. They have about 1000 miles on them. They are currently setup for very close to stock ride height for a 13 (maybe 1/4” higher), but I can put them back where they were...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah, I got it all back together and have been driving it for the tune. I’m happy with how it feels, 30hp doesn’t make much difference in a truck as heavy as this. Matt seems to have been correct so far, I’m not noticing much as far as the VVT being gone. It’s a pretty mild cam as I didn’t want...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Probably little to nothing, especially on an NA engine. A good CNC job would net more power. They’re basically the same except the intake valve has a slightly different angle and the casting is better. I bought them because they were available, super clean, came with rocker arms that already had...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The engine is an L94 6.2L, the LSA heads are rectangle port.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

This truck clearly wasn’t well cared for by its previous owners based on how much money I’ve had to spend on this truck. The only original paint left is the liftgate; I’ve had to replace the entire interior except the rear carpet, 1/4 trims, liftgate trim, and headliner; rear differential...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I just figured I'd dump even more money into this damn truck instead of buying a Navigator. I wanted to do an AFM hardware delete because it is getting close to 200k miles and it had all the original parts so I could stop worrying about it. I wanted to supercharge it so it would be more...

V Escalade - Loud at Startup

A CT5-V BW literally sounds the same as an Escalade V.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I guess you talked me into it. I’m nervous about not having physical AC buttons and it being some no-name Chinese stuff, but if it works as described, it’ll be nice for this vehicle. Maybe I’ll do the JVC in my 08 since it never gets driven on trips any more and sound quality would be the top...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I really need to find some good body vents (I noticed they were falling apart when I took the d-pillars off when the rest of the truck got painted and GM sucks so they’re discontinued) and a right interior C-pillar trim (fabric is falling off). I’ve had no luck on eBay.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I have a TruTrac in it also and that dictated the gear oil requirements. I’m sure a lot of the noise is from the poly bushings I put in it as well.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I’m pretty sure AAM has been GM’s manufacturer for a long time, but you never know with GM. They source parts and designs from all over the world. It’s also possible AAM made the gears for Motive. Livernois Motorsports used to sell a 3.70 gear set for the Camaro differential that they...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

American Axle makes the OEM gears. I’ve never installed Motive, but I have heard good things as well. I really wanted to use them over Yukon gear but they didn’t offer a 3.70/3.73 gear ratio for a Camaro differential. They work fine but they are crazy noisy.
