The bracket as in the hinge or the long running board bracket? It bolts together but if they don't come apart it's probably seized.
I bought the assembly with the motor and hinge when I did mine.
They seem to be an extremely low resolution crappy camera more than anything else. Pretty much useless at night or any time that's anything but a perfectly clear day.
Walmart batteries the only ones I've had last any decent length of time so that's what my stuff has. Tahoe got one last year. It wasn't a fun one to get to.
Try to find some other 2025s online to compare prices. Try another dealer and see what the best price is you can get a new 2026 for.
Try doing some google searches to see if you can figure out how long its been for sale. Even tho it's technically used if they've never sold it you would still be...
Mines the last generation but I put mud flaps on it to stop the ice and stuff from getting to it. And also to protect the door bottoms because they're getting chips, the fixed running boards sticking out further at least help prevent that.
Like you said the low price is a good indicator of what you're getting.
When Rock Auto has really good prices it's usually overstock and warehouses trying to liquidate slow moving inventory.
Last time I was looking for centers they weren't available for all the different rims and those aftermarket ones aren't the same quality as oem. It might be a good solution if you like a style of rims that wasn't available for your brand but there are millions of GM trucks out there, it's not...
The front suspension is completely different, the frame would probably have to be modified to change to the torsion bar suspension if it's even possible and probably also lacks the mounting locations for the transfer case and front axle. You'd be better off buying a 4x4 truck to begin with.
Any full size GM truck rim from the 2000s up will fit. Pick whichever you like the best or fits your budget. The rims themselves are usually different designs between Chevy and GMC (and Cadillac) and ususlly have emblems in the center caps so you'll probably want to stick with Yukon or Sierra...
Does it act strange in other settings like using hvac or navigation? If so sounds like the touch screen might be going. If not either pull the fuses or disconnect the battery.
I've bought AC Delco parts in the past on there and never an issue.
One of the local parts stores here is an AC Delco dealer and quite often will beat dealer prices and be similar to Rock Auto.
Is it changing other things on its own? Its common for the digitizer that senses what you're selecting on the screen to go bad and start doing ghost touches.
White smoke on cold start is pretty normal. When you changed the plugs did you check what they looked like? That would have been a good starting point. Or if you still have them do they all look the same?
Power running boards usually drop a few inches lower then the normal ones. The normal ones used to use L shape brackets to attach them so it could be a bit of work to lower them, then there'd be an odd gap.
I've noticed a difference between the various generations we've had, we still have a 99 and when it's daily driven its being filled up all the time.
I think it would be interesting to see what the fuel mileage differences would be with the different generations of stock drivetrains in the same...
