What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Could you possibly do a write up as well as posting links to the info that you used?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I have the Belltechs front and rear to install on my Yukon....I think I read they were the equivalents to the Eibachs. Could be wrong! Do you happen to know if there is a difference other than color?

Tell him to give you a price. Making someone submit an offer is BS. Especially in your situation because you don't want to offend the guy

    What year Yukon 2500...?

Feel weird posting this here as I did not want to hijack the thread but....I just acquired a 2006 Suburban with the 8.1. I was told that the 6.0 gets only a marginal amount of better fuel economy than the 8.1. The big block offers significantly more torque at the lower rpm range which is what I...

170k Miles: What kind of maintenance issues should I be looking at?

So....I will try to add my .02 and attempt to answer your question by telling you a short story. I like cars......A LOT! While car collectors like to get there hands on rare and old models, I really like buying and driving mass produced every day vehicles! I have owned plenty from Lexus and...

    Brand/model suggestions on steering parts?

Hello all.....if this is in the wrong section I want to apologize in advance and kindly request it be moved! I read comments pertaining to steering boxes, pitman arms and idler arms being better from AC Delco pro above moog for a number of reasons so I picked them up. But I want to replace...

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

Thanks....out of all of the pieces needed....I need the right vehicle for the quadsteer. I think I am a month away from getting my hands on it. I did locate a 06 Esky that I have my eyes on but it is silver and I really want the dark blue like your Tahoe! I found a couple of rare Bermuda blues...

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

I will go look for it. Do you think some of the info will be helpful for the older NBS trucks I will be working with? AND....thank you again!

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

Well so far I have learned that the half ton bodies do not bolt directly to the 2500 frame. The 2500 frame is narrower apparently but the bodies all have the locations stamped out so I will just have to tackle that little issue. I also didn't think about this originally but 2 things were just...

Nice...my grandparents lived right accross from there at Kimball ave! I was down on Palmer road in Bronxville! So awesome to talk with someone close by But on a more serious note....good job OP on the repairs. I am sub'd! I also have a love hate relationship with weathertechs. There was a...

I am hoping to achieve this kind of reliability if not more after the motor has been freshened up with better parts.

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

You just eliminated about 10 hours of research time for me! Thank you so much! That is exactly what I want to build. A little more power but I want it to last for 500,000 miles!!

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I believe that is the part of the pressure fitting. Once you remove the clips ....all of that should come with the part that you will discard. The new line should have it as well but you won't see it. Hopefully you will never see it again as well!

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

To be honest....the main reason for considering a HD silvy front clip swap is because of the core support needed for all of the ancillaries up front. Rad, coolers and such. I won't be able to bolt up the Esky clip to it. I still may even do a hd sierra clip primarily because I was inspired by...

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

HAHAHA.....I will be renting a garage with a couple of lifts for a month. Not only is working on vehicles a big no no around here....I am already hated for driving a diesel truck. Worst part is that I return home from work at all hours of the night and you could hear a pin drop in the...

Well....I decided to completely build my next keeper

Yeah while I have a 2013 cummins currently....I am no where near an expert on the duramax motors. After all of the reading I found out that some gens have more issues than others. I learned that the LBZ takes boost the best but some may have problems with pistons and head gaskets. I just want to...
