It's frame mounted, although there are 2 small tabs that attach to the top of the bumper. The Mud Terrains are great! I've had several sets through the years on my 4wd's. These are KM2's ,i like them better than the originals.....except for the price!! Lol!

No, it has the Z71 package but as far as i know none were factory installed on om Tahoe's. I liked the look so i stuck them on. They're GM decals.

Does the blower motor work on high speed only and none of the lower settings? If so, its the blower motor resistor. Check the motor out like everyone has said and go from there.
Yeah our Hoe's are all kinda close !

Since you've replaced the distributor and sensors, more than likely those aren't the issue but never completely rule them out when trying to diagnose the problem. I've had several "new" parts that were defective over the years.
You said you had a bad ground to the ECM and after fixing it...
You state there are no trouble codes but are there any pending codes ? My Dad had a similiar issue with his 88' GMC . It would die the way you describe. We chased it for awhile and it turned out to be a bad pickup coil in the distributor.

The Tahoe caught hell in that wreck! Hopefully everyone was unhurt. That's a clean looking Yukon, nice find!

Pulling the transmission while its on the ground is doable but not fun. Is your Burb a 4wd? You'll need some jackstands and a floor jack....a low profile transmission jack would be better. Removal is pretty straight forward, if its a 4wd I've found it easier to remove the driveshafts, disconnect...
I was curious if there might be an issue with the shifter linkage, thats why i asked. I would just inspect the e brake, shift linkage etc.

Try pulling out on the emergency brake release and hold it out while pulling up on the e brake lever with your other hand and see if the light goes out. If not, it may need some adjusting or you have issues at the rear. As for the trans not engaging...do you " feel " it engage each gear when you...
You say there was a pop and the emergency brake light is on...can you apply and release the emergency brake? Sounds like something " like a spring" came loose or broke. Pull the brake drums and check things out.

Its been awhile since i messed with one but seems like there was a snap ring holding it in. I believe thats the high pressure sensor.

This is definitely an adjustment issue and/or some worn out parts in the latch itself. That glass should be flush with the rear trim. I know you've done all kinds of adjusting on it but that has to be the issue. I found these old threads which I'm sure you've already seen...but here they are...
You only need to turn the oil pump drive IF the dist won't seat fully when you drop it in. Fix the ground , that has to be done anyway.

My apologies, it was late. The last one i did was like a week ago and it was a 4.3l which is the way i described

Pull #1 plug wire and verify that you are actually getting spark at the plug wire when you're turning the engine over, if you have spark then i'd say you're probably 180 out. Set it back on TDC #1 cylinder, your rotor should then be pointed towards the left side of the cap" pass side" . Remember...
Those fittings are for the engine oil cooler, if its leaking around the threads then put some Teflon tape around the threads and tighten it up. I have never had that "sheetmetal hex nut" loosen up. Without looking at it, it's kind of hard to tell you a good way to fix it. If you can add maybe a...
Read this article, maybe it'll help. Getting a Vortec timed perfect can be a pain in the ass at times.

Off the top of my head I can't remember, but .060 sounds correct. Just check your Fuel Emissions sticker on your fan shroud. It'll show spark plug gap.
