I posted this in the Corsa thread but figured I'd try here too. Can someone with the GM Perf exhaust and someone with the Corsa exhaust do this?
When I was doing the exhaust on my X5, I made the video below. I used the app Decibel X and set my phone up about 6 feet away from the rear end...
Agree. For me, getting the power from the battery will be the easiest part of the install. Now just need to figure out how to get signal and where to connect the remote wire.
Not sure how close you are with your audio guy but if you talk to him again, can you ask if he just tapped into the wires going to the factory sub or used some kind of piggyback harness going to the Bose amp to install your powerwedge+?
I went ahead and ordered a Kicker HS10. If I can't fit it under one of the seats, I'll just put it in the cargo area and remove it when I need the space. It has a quick connect so it'll be a quick removal/reinstall when I have to.
100% in your boat. I'm taking delivery of a Yukon Denali in 3-4 weeks coming from an x5m and a couple of BMWs before the x5. I would've got the X7 but the 3rd row only has two seats and we wanted captains in the second row and 3 seats in the 3rd.
Test driving, the brakes are what stood out...
Did you call Corsa and get these numbers? When I was doing the exhaust on my X5, I made the video below. I used the app Decibel X and set my phone up about 6 feet away from the rear end before cold start. According to this app, my cold starts average about 96dB so 99 wouldn't be that much...
Sorry you’ll have to deal with a newb here. So this harness works for the 21/22 even though it says up to 19? I’m assuming it would work for the Yukon too?
What exactly would I do to hook up a powered sub?
How much space is there under the 2nd row captains? Might just throw a powered sub under there while JL works on their stealth box.
I don’t take delivery for another 4 weeks or so so I can’t just go look.
I just googled pals app and put in my vin. Destination says GM PLANT TO RAIL SHUTTLE and there is a Freight bill number. What would the next step be and is there a way to get more details with the freight bill number?
Can anyone shed some light on the park sensor constraint? My Denali was schedule TPW of 2/7/22. Do you think it will get built without front/rear park sensors? I just can't fathom buying an 85k+ truck without park sensors.
