I haven't had time to make a full post yet but I did take some fender height measurements:
FR- 39"
FL- 39 1/4"
RR-40"
RL-40 1/2"
These are a little higher than I expected to be honest.
Your's sits almost exactly like mine did before I installed the Bilstein 5100's and Moog springs. I had 2" front/1" rear leveling spacers. I have no idea why the tires look bigger though. They are a pretty aggressive tread pattern.
I'll post a new thread this weekend on the details and measurements. It is definitely higher front and rear. Rides so much better and now I don't rub at all with no trimming.
I just wanted to add that I just did this conversion with the exact parts that 01Konvict listed for you. It rides 100 times better than the old Autoride and looks great. I just made a post in the "let's see some lifted and leveled" thread with pictures.
I'll be making a new thread with details...
Finally got rid of the POS autoride system! I will post fender measurements tomorrow.
Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear
Moog z71 Springs
Moog all new bushings/isolators
2"/1" level (installed previously)
OK I'll check them out. So just to be clear, should I keep the rear 1" spacers in if I set the front shocks to 1/2" lift on top of the 2" spacer I already have? I read that the new Moog rear Springs will give me some lift over the autoride Springs I'm replacing.
Thanks man. I didn't realize that the 5100 struts had a 1/2" setting. I thought the first notch was 1" up from stock. I will look into disconnecting the ride height sensors and see if I will need resistors for those. Hopefully this will give me a little more lift and ride a lot better than it...
I just want to make sure I have all the right parts I will need to do the install correctly, have a decent ride, and not have any dash lights.
I currently have a Rough Country 2" level up front and 1" coil spacers in the back.
These are the parts I have put together to order after a lot of...

I currently have a Rough Country 2" level up front and 1" coil spacers in the back with the stock autoride suspension that is shot.
These are the...
Thanks for the responses! I asked a few other people as well and I don't think I will be going with Monroe shocks. I think I will go ahead and upgrade to Bilstein 5100's and get a set of non-autoride springs. I already have the resistors I need to make sure I don't get any dash lights after...
My autoride/auto-leveling/compressor are all shot on my truck. I want to get rid of the autoride and convert to passive suspension. Is this the strut and shock kit that I need?

I know that I will probably need to install resistors with this kit...
Not to hijack this thread but i need a new OEM front bumper. Previous owner did some damage in a parking garage. I was quoted almost $1000 for bumper/install/paint at a local bodyshop. Does this sound like too much?
I don't know but that is something I would be very interested in. I'm guessing they would fit. The brackets will be the same size. Wiring on the other hand might be different. I think the LTZ seats might be 12 way too. Im not sure though.
Now I'm just jealous haha. That is crazy cheap. It would be awesome to find a black LTZ interior to scavenge. I hate my tan interior but the deal I got on this truck at an auction was too good to pass up.
I totally understand. It kills me sometimes with my 2 year old in the backseat. I already have lines from the carseat in my leather and milk stains on the carpet. That's life with kids though.
You're lucky man, that's how it is where I grew up in Florida with junkyards but in NC they are...
I hope you have some luck there man. I was quoted $500 to fix my drivers seat. Makes Katzkin aftermarket leather sets not look quite so expensive. There aren't any good pick and pulls near me now but $60 is an amazing deal for second row leather.
Are the seats in your PPV fabric or vinyl? I...
With the camaro seats I believe you would have to have custom brackets fabricated to fit your tahoe. Even then, they might not be tall enough to get the proper driving position. I have the same issue of collapsed foam and rubbed leather on my driver's seat. I looked into an upholstery shop but...
Yep, my tuned 2007 shifts very strong at 5750 RPM as well at WOT. Before the tune it wasn't that much lower at WOT. I'd think about getting it checked out.
No doubt it isn't a permanent solution but not bad for as cheap as it is. If you've got the money to get them new and have professional paint done that will look the best I'm sure though.
Ill second this. I dipped my bowties front and back over a year ago. I haven't had any issues with them at all. 4 coats black plastidip and 2 coats glossifier.
Do you have a wiring diagram or could you tell me which wires you hooked up to the resistors? I am about to install switchbacks and can't figure out which ones.
