    Turbo Tahoe?

Well guys she's all together tried to fire it up with the stock injectors in it just to hear it run and give you guys a video. It cranked but wouldn't start up. Also noticed a small leak from the T I used for the oil feed line so it'll be a little longer I suppose. Not really sure why it...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Wasn't bad at all good set of drill bits and it goes through like butter. Even did it without the 90 degree drill. But no one local carried the thread tap size I needed so I had to order it which was an 11/16.

    Turbo Tahoe?

That doesn't even explain it lol. I thought about running around and trying to find the T fitting I needed again which mine will probably arrive tomorrow or Saturday.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Well cut work short today and went and wrenched on the truck for a few. Got the vaccum lines run as well as my fitting in the pan for the return. Started extending my wires for my MAF sensor but I need some more materials. Just waiting on my fitting for my oil feed and it's just about complete...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Valid point lol but it'll be just as hard to have to spend another $2k or more in the next few months. I told the ms. that I would take a break and take care of stuff around the house after it's running and tuned. Do you have a thread on here for the one that you turbocharged?

    Turbo Tahoe?

It's crazy some people have the worst luck where they don't last anytime and other people have them last way longer than anyone would expect. The guy who's tuning my truck didn't seem to concerned when I told him it had a 60e and I knew that was the weak link. And that I just wanted it to run...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Haha you don't. I had no clue about what it even was until earlier and then google once again filled me in on some new useful tools. Just search RPO code for what ever you'd like to know about your Tahoe etc and in most cases something will surface.

    Turbo Tahoe?

I was really hoping I was going to get lucky lol so then I could skip the 4L80 swap and go straight to a cam and converter lol. But I'll just make due until I get all the trans swap parts in hand.

    Turbo Tahoe?

My truck does in fact have a 4L60e and it came from GM that way. M30 on the RPO codes.

    Turbo Tahoe?

The kit comes with brackets for the intercooler which worked well. But to be honest if I were do it again I'd probably go with the trick performance kit for simplicity and what seems to be more quality parts in regards to V band clamps and T bolt clamps etc.

    Turbo Tahoe?

It's definitely not a 6L80 I know that for sure.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Agreed definitely should have been I took a quick glimpse and it never really mattered because I had spoke of going turbo but figured i wasn't going to. And then 2 months later I talked my old lady into me buying the kit and here it is.

Rear Mounted turbo - 2014 GMC Yukon XL (5.3L)

I can't say that I've done the remote setup but I do currently have a NNBS Tahoe that I'm almost done installing the ON3 kit on and should hopefully have it running by the weekend and also have a thread on here for those that are considering the turbo route. I personally would buy a complete kit...

    Turbo Tahoe?

As I thought as well from little research I did before I purchased it. But upon looking underneath shortly after purchase I thought I saw something that said 60 on it but the next time I crawl under it I'll take a more detailed look based off the tell tale signs shown online. I Actually don't...

    Turbo Tahoe?

    It is a 2009 with I think 107k. Stock 5.3 with unfortunately a 4L60E. On3 turbo kit with a 76mm turbo a 320lph fuel pump and a set of LSA injectors.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Ran around looking for fittings and a tap today and came back empty handed so I'm just going to order what I need tonight. Did manage to wire up my wideband though so it wasn't a complete bust.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Got the oil pan tapped for the return today but I have to try and get a larger tap tomorrow so I can put threads in the hole drilled. Actually wasn't to bad at all and I'll snap some pics after I get the fitting in. Tomorrow I'm going to try and find an adapter locally so I can T off the oil...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Went and tinkered for a few last night. Still need to install the BOV but the little O-ring didn't want to cooperate last night. also the t bolt clamps that come with this kit are a pain in the ass they are barely large enough so every single one is a fight for your life with only 2 hands...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Just picked up my charge pipe pieces, but I'm leaving to go to my beach house tomorrow so I probably won't mess with the truck until I get back. So hopefully next week she will be running.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Haven't really messed with it the past two days it's been in the high 90's here. But tomorrow I should be getting my intercooler pipes back so I will probably install all of that stuff. Then climb under and assess the tapping of the pan. I'm down to small things left once I get the piping back...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Thank you sir. I'm going to try and tackle the few other things while I wait to get the piping back, tapping the pan for oil return and deciding where to get my oil feed source since my truck has a factory oil cooler, so where most tap it is not available. About to do a little research on what...

    Turbo Tahoe?

Well I stand corrected the downpipe did fit just had to ask it respectfully to work in unison with other parts lol. Got it on as we as the wastegate and dumptube. Had most of the charge pipes on but had to send them off with a friend to get them altered and the MAF sensor welded on.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Ran into some more issues today. Kit is made for a Silverado not quite a Tahoe so the rear AC lines and stuff associated kind of take up a lot of the space for the downpipe, and it also hits the frame rail as well so I'm going to have to take it to a local shop and get it fabbed up. Also the...
