Ya, not enough time to enjoy two sports cars, so this one had to go. It went to a great guy to be enjoyed with his little kids. I’m happy for them, still stings a bit though
Intermediate Weekend warrior. Running at Gingerman raceway. Set the camber and toe on both cars last weekend, haven’t decided yet whether I’ll take the camaro or the vette. Depends on the weather. I’ll decide in the morning I guess. Whichever is dirtier will go with me. (Takes a good 25 hours to...
M6 (as all 1LE package cars are), HUD, leather/alcantara insets heated seats, NAV, NPP, Recaros, Z28 CAI, ported TB, Xpel. 16,500 miles. As many pics as you’d like upon request. $26,900. PM me. Thank you
That’s why I bought my Tahoe used with low miles. Let someone else pay 65k.
Sometimes, when I out with the vette, I’ll get a shitty remark along the lines of “you must be doing well, you have a c7”. My response is usually along the lines of “you must be doing even better, you have a new...
Thank you GT and all for the comments. I too like the silver exterior over the cocoa-dune interior (no grey inside, just 2 tone). A bit odd of a combo with the silver exterior, but I do like the non-traditional combo.
All valid points. However, and the reason I was shocked (because I’m a big believer in tuning after any work), my Camaro numbers posted above are based on factory tune. Only a Z28 cai and ported TB took it from from 386 to 412. Got to admit, I’ve been around cars since I was 10. Never seen...
Thanks. I know the beauty of tuning well, my issue is that it’s a DD. I’m afraid of a warranty block. Regardless of retuning back to stock, it will store flashes showing the ECU has been tampered with.
Without the long story, I thought about selling my 2013 SS 1LE camaro last year. For those who aren’t familiar, the 13 -15 1LE came only with a LS3 coupled with a Tremec TR6060 6speed. Because I was considering selling it, I took everything off expect the ls7 z28 cold air intake and the ported...
G00se has the correct order. 10 is awesome, 6 is old but reliable. The 8, you’re on your own. Being on 3 other enthusiast forums, and friends with camaro and vette, I’d rather buy a Chrysler (reliability wise) than GM anything with the 8speed auto.
Did the same as you on my vette Joey, asked the dealer to not touch a thing. Brand new, put in about 50 hrs of clay, paint correction (orange peel), then finally ceramic coated it. I went through several bars of clay, all completely covered in iron.
I answered my own question today. No bumper removal, but since it’s engineered by GM, it’s time consuming and needlessly complicated. Not a hard job though.
