Was wondering myself about the builds4christ username and profile pic! Really awesome ministry ya got going! Love hearing about stuff like this! Amen to all Glory to God for the skills and talents He’s blessed us with! Keep up the Lord’s work brother!
As a GMT800 owner, I completely agree with this response. I’ve seen several replies in several different threads with responses to the question of “what should I do about my issue riddled 2021+ rig” of “just ditch it and buy a GMT800”, and I agree that’s its not a helpful response at all.

That’s the Escalade EXT third brake light. FYI…. It DOES NOT fit the SUV hatches. It mounts on where the sail panels meet the midgate setup on the EXT. the bottom side of is not at all shaped like the SUV setup for the tailgate style hatch glass.
Interesting. I’ve pulled apart a couple sets of mirrors and the caps I’ve pulled apart all had plastic snapping clips holding them in place on the mirror housing and no double sided adhesive anywhere.
Yeah as far as I’m aware there’s no speed restriction to the power folding mirror option. When I first got the truck 11 years ago I didn’t know it had power folding mirrors and the selector was in the middle. Again I don’t know how I did it, maybe my arm was resting on the switch by mistake and...
Same way they fold when the truck has power. Put the left/right selector switch to its center position, and then hold the right side of the square shaped mirror adjustment button down for about 2ish seconds, the glass adjusts down to its lowest position, and the mirror folds in. Hold the left...
Good looking wheel and tire switch up! Looks good! I can’t recommend blackbear performance enough for tunes!!! They really know what they’re doing. Had my 2006 Yukon xl Denali tuned in 2017 with them and have no regrets sos inf the cage in that! Trans holding a lower gear longer and torque...
sadly it’s not just the K2 platform. GM’s paint SUCKS! Anyways best friend’s parent shave a 2015 Escalade ESV that I detail for often and the clearcoat on the hood is thrashed. Super hazy and faded. The owner of the venue I teach line dancing at picked up a gorgeous 2018 Yukon XL Denali 3 years...
You are correct in the door lights and the glove box lights. Somewhere in 2003 the deleted the rear door courtesy lights and replaced it with a cheap red reflector lens. Super dumb in my opinion. I want to run some wire back there and put some courtesy lights in. It’s weird how they option them...
Did you check the opposite end at the trans just to be sure? It does need to be under tension to pull the linkage at the trans from park.
If the shift cables are all installed properly and have tension then my next guess would be an issue with the shift lock solenoid. Did you replace that with...
I don’t know…. lol
According to the park they come back a a couple days later and clear the center dividers…. They didn’t this time. They cleared from my driveway to corner street cuz I had a corner lot on the intersection when I was out shoveling it but then left the entire rest of the street...
This little piece right here is what slides into the bracket under the column at the shift linkage and the locking tabs on either side expand and hold it into the bracket. Then the little metal u shaped clip slides into the slots behind the tab. This is my cable that broke, the first photo shows...
The upside to the storm was that it gave us a super fun day to ski with my sister, bro in law, and the kids. They loved getting fresh tracks in the powder and just enough coverage to play around off the edges of the trails and some little rip runs through some of the trees.
And then the morning of the ski day with my sister and family, after clearing the driveway and being a bit late to the morning from a quick stint of being stuck in said snow berm trying to get out, I headed out from the park and the county plow left a huge pile of snow in the main road that I...
I really dislike snow….. lol. It causes all sorts of issues. The county doesn’t plow the roads in the park where I live, so the park has a couple maintenance people that handle snow plowing but they’re total idiots. They plow up one side of the street, turn around, plow the other side, and then...
Years back we had a forum member that was making them but I don’t think they’re still around. They were pretty cool. The one side was the front profile of a GM SUV and then the back end had TYF letters. Not the best photo but I found an old photo of my rig of back when I had the decal. I’d love...
I’ve had my the shift cable that connects the handle at the column, to the shift linkage on the transmission itself fail three times since July. It does exactly what you’re describing when it fails. I feel a snap and then the gear handle moves up and down but doesn’t shift the trans. Not saying...
