    2012 Tahoe SSV

It should idle buttery smooth. Mine has a little "miss" rough idle from time to time that I need to figure out. Definitely could be oxygen sensors.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I have done a Subaru ej255 and an Isuzu g180 But not an LS...but I have had this on the side of the house for nearly 2 years. :emotions34: And a fair amount of parts for it, cam, lifters, valve springs, headers, head studs... Hopefully taking it apart soon finally.

Much cleaner for a street mobile. Lower CG in corners I bet is noticeable.

You can sneak the pan out despite the exhaust. Just get crafty and expect some fluid to make a mess.

    2012 Tahoe SSV

As long as none of the wires are hot, tuck them or remove/chop them out. 100% afm delete...at the very least, get a tune that turns it off. I have 200k mi on my ssv, the 2nd 100,000 I have kept afm off in the computer and no issues yet...I also regularly wring it out to 6,000rpm maybe 6,500...

With our suspension geometry, any thickness you add to the strut assembly, will double at the wheel. Half inch spacer gives you 1 in lift Back when I had mine leveled, I ran a 1 inch spacer to bring the front end up two inches and it sat perfect

Oh yeah, I'm not saying I wouldn't go that route if I were lowering, just wouldn't be the best for my current situation. ...the king coilovers are too tall somehow, I almost mounted them under like to to fix it. I'll probably have them get me shorter and stiffer springs eventually.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I don't particularly like relying on the tensile strength of the bolts to keep my vehicle up, but that said, there has been air under all four tires a few times

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I mean, I put in some off-road suspension that was supposed to be 0-3" of lift which turned out to be actually 3"-6" of lift... Not happy about this still, the front axles have been slowly eroding the aluminum height adjustment ring holding up the spring... But you should easily be able to just...

I thought I would have my other engine built and in by now, but instead I guess I'm going to have to buy another set of plugs... Haven't worried about sway bars just yet surprisingly. Did the wires 100,000 miles ago I think I'll leave them this time unless they come apart again.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

When I got my dirt King upper control arms, I did the "upgraded" camber plates that have the multiple drilled holes rather than the open slots so that they cannot adjust themselves unintentionally.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah, when I bought mine and did the first tire rotation just after 100,000, passenger side was bad and I found that out just by pushing the top of the tire towards the engine and it had some play in there so I got one on order real quick after that and swapped it out. ^All that too

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I was thinking about doing both of my front wheel bearings and maybe axles since I'm at 200k, no issues, but I'd rather not have any either...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thanks, this is the updated one with the straight upper mounts rather than the 90°, and the end tanks without the ripples in the middle. Hopefully this updated one doesn't have issues. But I did get three and a half years out of the first one without issue. The only thing I'm curious about...

Holy smokes summit racing was fast this time... And they used ontrac which I've never had luck with. 24 hours after I ordered it was on my door step, from Nevada to SoCal.

Yeah, my old Mickey Thompson MT's were 285/70r17 and were darn close to a 33x11.50...the tire has been self clearancing what little inner fender i left covering the windshield washer bottle. I like cheese

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got to work about 45 minutes early so parked and idled with the heater on and took a little nap. Got out and realized there was a decent little puddle under the front end so my Cold Case radiator must be leaking worse than it used to. So just ordered another one and it'll probably be...

Not sure why, the tire shop under inflated everything...severely. two of them had to be 5 PSI maybe, one was at 11 and another was at like 21... The guy told me he wasn't sure what to put them at, I would think at least 20 if not 30... Most cars tell you to put 30 plus PSI in the tires from what...

Finally posting a "build" thread. The progression of my stupidity.

Out with the bald 50,000mi Mud Terrains and 200,000mi 17x7.5 +31 factory wheels. In with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss all terrain "suv" tires on the Dorman 17x8 +24 later model steelies. Just enough offset the side walls don't rub the control arms otherwise would have kept the stock wheels...

There's an SSV in my future - the search is on

They absolutely are high here, when I was shopping for mine and 2018, I found my 2014 for $15,000, 100,000 miles. Just because it was the new body style, they also had a 2015 also with 100,000 miles and they wanted 25 grand for that

You won't really find any from Southern California, there are people that buy them out of state and bring them here to sell. There was a tiny dealership that I bought mine from down in Huntington Beach that they basically only had used police vehicles for sale. Definitely get a later model...
