Thanks. My terminology was sub par. I have the factory "rails" on my tahoe. I was asking about how do boxes etc. mount to the cross bars/rails? Is that GM proprietary or could any Thule or Yakima cargo box be mounted without much pain? Hope that makes sense...
I have bought extended warranties but not for a GM vehicle. My reference in regards to the aftermarket was not that the aftermarket product would be covered but would it affect the warranty validity. Several providers offer electronics coverage you just have to buy the more expensive plan.
I might be interested in these. What are the top mounts on the rails like? Specifically, what process do cargo boxes or ski racks mount to the rails via? Is it a GM proprietary mount or more of a universal bolt setup?
Key words here, READ. Gambling is hardly ever 50/50. House usually has the odds and with the extended warranty the carveouts are what give them the favor. I am curious of more details on the warranty they offer. What does the mileage top out at, 100k? What electronics are covered? What...
Hello,
I am looking at getting the Falken Wildpeak AT4's in 285/70r17 and am pretty much settled on the C Load version instead of the E Load primarily for on road comfort. I have ran E loads on so many trucks now I want to try a C to see if it is in fact "softer".
My question is regarding the...
Excellent work all around. I may mess around with a similar behind the dash light bar. I'm glad I got a look at your Zero offsets. I recently got some +25mm 17's and plan to go with 285/70r17 so I hope it fits. ok...
How do they ride? I had Fox 2.0s on my 2011 F150 and they definitely stiffened the truck up but was satisfied overall. Im leaning toward the Billstein 6112s on the tahoe just to try something different. Or possibly the Dobinson kit.
I like the <2020 body style for the rear solid axle, no auto start stop, less safety features to chime and beep at you. It seems like the new body is a little harder to see over the hood (could just be me). Big selling factor for me was i could pick one up used for basically half the price of a...
I left the stock high beams in there because they were pretty buried. These LED low beams are brighter than the halogen high beams so Im not even going to use them. My plan is to put a dual pod LED in the fog cubbie or throw some spots on the A pillar eventually.
I'm new to the forum here and recently picked up a 2018 Z71 Tahoe. I have enjoyed reading up on some must-do's to get these trucks running good and hopefully for a long time.
First thing on my to-do list was throw some LED's in the low beams. It is insane that GM had halogens in these from the...
