I’ve always had sport bikes. But I’m looking to get a cruiser.
I rode Harley's since high school. My dad owned one. I learned on a hard tail knuckle head.
I always thought I would ride till the day I died. I was even willing to go to a trike.

BUT!, the cost is just not realistic but the biggest thing that keeps me on 4 wheels, is the absolute idiots on the road. I have dealt with Red Light runners.
The Cell Phone talkers.
The Pulled Out in front of me because it felt safe drivers.
The Lane Changers that did not see me.

You name it, I have had it happen. No more. It is bad enough with vehicle to vehicle idiots out there. My 2 wheels loses against any 4 wheeler and I have had road rash. It is no fun.

You want a bike. Get it and have fun but LOOK THE EFFF OUT!

I drive semi trucks at work, I see all the sheety drivers all day. I’ve rode in tons of places with poopy drivers like L.A. and Vegas. Just gotta keep your head on a swivel. These days riders are arrogant morons that go around and pick fights with cagers every day-that’s not me because I know I’ll lose that fight 10 out of 10 times.

I was always a very defensive rider, especially when my girl was with me. Only wreck I ever had on asphalt was going thru a curve on a freeway around San Diego and hit a patch of sand and the bike went down. Had another lay down on wet grass coming down an incline in a field, on way back to tent after breakfast. Hit rear brakes and it just did not slow on the dewy grass. Laid it over to keep from going in to the tents.
