I have a 2011 Yukon. Today when I went to start it it started to shave and then turned off. I started it again and it started to shake again and I noticed that the gas pedal was non responsive. I took it around the block for a drive and it felt like it was off. Little by little the shaking...
I say leave them alone. Looks better stock. I am not a fan of black wheels on colors other than black. It reminds me of Police or Border patrol vehicles.

Distortion is due to the wide angle lens. It is a very very wide lens mainly used for landscapes. However you can use a lens like this to get some interesting perspectives. In photoshop I could use the lens correction but I chose not to as I liked the look.

I don't know why but, I prefer the moldings on this body style. I had an older body style and took those off as it looked way better but, the new body style if makes it look naked like its lacking something. just my two cents.
Looks like you did a good job removing them though.
