    I don't know why but, I prefer the moldings on this body style. I had an older body style and took those off as it looked way better but, the new body style if makes it look naked like its lacking something. just my two cents. Looks like you did a good job removing them though.

    funny your trying to remove yours and want to add the esky to mine. I would say if you do not plan on putting back on ever than take it to a paint and body shop and have them covered and painted.

    I have done that before. Living in AZ summers get in the 110 plus. Makes it real easy to just pull of the moldings after a few hours in the sun.
