    Popping sound 4 or 5 months after drop

    Upper intermediate steering shaft would be my guess. All the NBS get it at some point. There’s grease in between the upper and lower shaft and with the gear box being connected to the frame, the body flexes and forces grease to separate. I don’t have a picture of mine but it’s a common issue...

    Ok, I’m trying to be a DIY’er and uh, jacked up the frame and lowered the differential, got the stock springs out, anyway to squeeze these springs in there without compressing them? I’m about an inch or so shy of getting them in on the insulators with no compression. Diff can’t go down anymore...
