BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

I got under my 2024 Yukon Denali XL with 2230 miles on it. I looked up behind the exhaust pipe on the driver side and found my engine number tucked away. According to what I have been seeing, motors made with a date code of 24183 and after are OK. My date code is 24137. Which means the 137th day...

BREAKING: GM is officially recalling the L87

I bought a 2024 with 14 miles on it. At 1000 miles I dumped the 0w20 and went with 0w40. One thing I notice is the oil pressure is a bit higher.

Look At What Came Out Of My Catch Can

Mercedes still has them, they are called Oil vapor sepearators, and on my 20' S class, they sit behind ALOT of crap that has to be removed to access.... THe Benz ones has little half circles inside to keep the oil flowing in a downward direction. They do drain back into the case. I changed mine...

Look At What Came Out Of My Catch Can

Google JL Oil Seperator....Once one the site you can find for your model. It takes about 15 mins to install, very easy install. The connections with the JL are just the same as the factory ones.

Look At What Came Out Of My Catch Can

Brand new Yukon Denali. 6.2 motor. This is after 1100 miles. I installed this and the truck had 14 miles on it. I did first oil change today and went with 0w-40 Mobil1 Full Synthethic. This is a JL brand seperator. Check out how much this caught just after 1100 miles on a new motor. Its like a...

    New 2024 Yukon XL Denali

I took the truck out on a long multi hour drive this weekend and this thing is a mover! I like this 6.2.... I think I got it broken in pretty good now. At 500 miles and will change oil to 0w-40. Also wondering if there is a different oil pump I can put in, I see standard AC delco pumps for this...

    New 2024 Yukon XL Denali

Exacatly, picking kids up, going to the store, and weekend famlily outings. This is great data logging. The one I have is the denali, so it has the bigger oil and trans coolers. Will be using either 0w-40 or 5w30 on this, but I have barely cracked 100 miles on the odo on this, so I need to drive...
