    How do I turn off the radio

    If I'm understanding correctly, I had the same gripe/annoyance with the radio/xm. If you turn the radio off, it turns everything off, including the screen. I don't think there's a solution...I just had to deal with turning the radio down every time so nothing blares when I start the vehicle...

    If I'm understanding you right, yes, you are correct. I have to turn off the entire system (holding down the off button) until all I see is the time/date. If I do that, turn off the car and the next time I start the car, nothing plays. However, nothing is on as well when the car starts...no home...

    Thanks for the tip! That is what I was afraid of. That seems pretty ridiculous as it's something so simple. Defaulting with the radio on every time it starts is not a common setting. Anyway, thanks and appreciate the help.
