No codes? You sure you dont have another vacuum leak anywhere? Could take a can of carb clean brake clean or starter fluid or I’ve seen people use propane and just spray it around the hoses or intake manifold and look for gasket leaks you would hear the idle surge when you find it.
I think their weak all together unless beefed up at the weak links and even then if not built correctly won’t last my buddy went through probably a dozen trans in his 97 and his 05 the only one that held up was when he swapped in a 4l80 in that 05
Did you ever find a solution?

Give em some faith I’ve had 35s on my 400,000 mile 4l60 for maybe 150,000 miles or more with no issues and I dog the shit out of it but then again I blew two out of both my Silverados with 35s-37s on them
I’ve had and seen plenty of bent pushrods broken valve springs and scored lifted I’ve never seen a cam mess up though and some of my buddy have beat the dog shit out of their trucks with built motors stage 4 cams anytime they have broke it so far it’s just been as simple as dropping a new...

Last time I did the Tahoe he said it was spot on minus some adjustments in the uca the tie rods I...
I’d shoot for the avalanche flairs beings the rear ones ain’t cut like the Tahoes rear flares are for the door opening…
Silverado flares don’t line up good with the body lines of the Tahoes I’d get some z71 style flares or if you want beefy get the bushwackers
Those are for a 2500hd and are different you want the ones in the link I sent you
And I’ve heard good things about the Viking coil overs that guy at atomic fab sells I’d say go for it or if you want something different you can buy the conversion kit and then just get your own shocks...
