Thank you Rockola. I'm in agreement. No way am I qualified to do a differential. I've heard about the precision tolerances required and I do not have those hand skills. I was toying with just having the bearings replaced if the noise was indeed bearings but once its down, might as well go...- Tonino

NP246 Auto 4wd Transfer Case Owners Beware!
Good Post Jay. I heard about that and check mine (135K miles) every so often and definitely between oil changes. I've always had a conditioned reflex to look under the family vehicles just walking by them in the driveway looking for fluid leaks. Good practice.- Tonino

Hello All. I'm reading where the front differentials on 4X4 Vehicles with the AWD option can be troublesome. My 04 Suburban Z71 4X4 w/AWD has a noisy front differential.
