Took it in to the dealership today. They called a bit ago. It's the body control module. They are replacing and hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow afternoon by close of business. Fingers crossed that's the end of this issue.- tmt502

Ha! Glad to know I'll be the guinea pig. Seriously thinking about picking up a steam shot and giving this a go. I am somewhat concerned about the badges coming off. The TAHOE lettering seems to be loose as it is. Any recommendations on a compound to use? -

With your steam shot idea, is that something that could damage anything? Would I need to be careful in using it on the paint or around badges? Would be nice to use something I can go full-out with and just melt this crap off. -

Front End Squeak - Need Input Please
I replaced the strut assemblies today with the Arnott SK-2954 conversion assemblies. The squeak is gone!! Just to follow up this, I changed out the valve cover and put in a range device before we took a long trip last weekend. After about 1,200 miles of driving, it appears that the oil loss/consumption is barely noticeable if existent at all. No oil spots around the valve cover and no drips at plug...- tmt502
