    First 5,000 miles

I have several of these vehicles over the last years. Some with the 5.3 and others with the 6.2 From my experience both motors get about the same MPG no matter what i did or where I drove. My typical highway MPG was/is 18. I can top 20 if its just rural 55 MPH highways. But anything on the...

Anyone waiting for the next gen V8s?

It wouldn't wait for something that may or may not be a thing. But then I would get another 6.2 in a heartbeat. I think the 3 engine choices in the big SUV are fine and would have not trouble with getting any of the 3.

    First 5,000 miles

I could probably get on board with the black out look wheels at 24".

    First 5,000 miles

My current 26 Yukon is our 4th SC vehicle. (My wife currently has a 26 Acadia Ultimate with SC) The 2026 Yukon had some SC features the other vehicles didn't have, mainly auto on once adaptive is engaged. I didn't like it at first but now really prefer over my wife's 26 which doesn't have the...

    First 5,000 miles

you are right. I was just exaggerating my point. I am just not a fan. They throw the profile off in my opinion. The 22” wheels really work in my experience.

    First 5,000 miles

Interesting comment on the 24"s. My local dealer has a 26 Tahoe with 24"s on the lot. They are actually a turn off for me. The 20' and 22" look and run perfectly with these rigs. Hey GM, No one wants 24" rims.

    Options v. Color

Options every time. I had the air suspension and retractable steps on a few recent Denali's. Great options. The air ride is beyond fantastic.

There really is nothing like these trucks!!!!

Nice new ride! I bought my Suburban in 15 and have never looked back. Tried a Traverse for a few months and had to get back to Yukon/Tahoe. Will never go back. Most folks driving these little Subuarus and Toyotas have no clue what we have going on in these rigs.

    2022-2023 Denali issues?

I really miss my 23's with the 6.2 Great engine for me.

    2022-2023 Denali issues?

I had 2 - 2023 Yukon Denail's (his & hers). Stupidest move I made was trading them in. They were wonderful vehicles with zero and I mean zero problems on ours.

Considering a 26 Tahoe or Yukon. Which engine is the most reliable?

I currently have a 5,3 in my 26 Yukon XL. I have had 3 of the 5.3's since 2015 and all performed well, poor gas mileage but that is the deal with these vehicles. Honestly I miss my 6.2's. Love the rumble and ample acceleration. Never had a lick of an issue with my 3.

Whats new on the 2027's ?

I really use and rely on my Iphone thru Carplay. The base Google system in my 26 is unimpressive and not sure why GM would consider messing with Apple compatibility. Its hard to believe that there will be no work around to connect Iphones.

Whats new on the 2027's ?

Just seeing if there is anything goming with 2027 model year?

    Advice Requested on "Lemon" Tahoe

I think being 4 years in that you will have trouble getting GM to do much at a buyback or lemon law type level. I would suggest leaning on the selling dealer and try to work something out. I went through a buyback last year on a 26 Traverse. It went well but from my experience I would be...

    Accept Buy-Back or Not

I had a buy back on my 2026 Traverse in October 2025. It went well, I came out about $5000 ahead and rolled eveything into my 2026 Yukon XL Elevation. My dealer did guide me on how to proceed and what question and things to ask for. All in all a good experience. Hated the Traverse. In shop for...
