    Mine are rotted, too. I'm not happy to pay $140 to replace them. The gap seems unnecessarily large for the hood hinge to pass through. I wonder if someone could 3D print replacements with a smaller opening. I may check into that.

    Yeah. If that's it I'll probably let it go a while. Ironically, I replaced the transmission last year, and had a bunch of other work done while I was at it. But I didn't think about the rear main seal.

    I broke the defroster connector today. Knowing this is a frequent failure, I avoid opening the glass. And when I do open it, I don't let it swing all the way. It broke anyway, while the glass was closed.

    Wow. It's a good thing the brake caliper is holding the wheel on there, lol. Were they making any noise? This is a great reminder to check the bearings next time I have the front end up. I'm at 155k and assume mine are original.
