    I am looking at a 2012 Chevy Avalanche as a replacement vehicle for my 2011 Chevy Tahoe Z71. I typically go through snowy conditions while towing trailers, so I would like to be able to get out of any situations.

    Undercarriage rubber coating is the best way. It can be expensive, but it is worth it. If you are more on a budget, undercarriage washing is the best.

    I did this with my Tahoe, except in auto, but it would keep It in four wheel. I did for far too long, but I somehow don't have any damage to the transfer case.

    I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe Z71. When I went to the instant economy, it would say v4 everything I let off the gas. If I recall, 2011 through 2014 don't have the afm, but does mine have it?

    I was referring to the 14 bolt when I swap it in. It already is towing the 7500lb trailer in question and has been for the past 2 years.

    Opinion on mp3024 transfercase

    I wanna swap a mp3024 in place of my current mp 3023. It is going to be paired to a 10l90e and lt4. This is the most direct swap I could think of.

    It was warm here in Northern Utah today, high of 40° and when I woke up it was about 31°.

    I plan on using it as a daily with a little bit of heavy towing here and there. I mostly wanted to see if a 9.25 would help with 4wd launches and not shredding the front end. But looking into the capabilities of the 8.25, I realize that I don't need the 9.25.

    Thank you! I was also wondering if I should swap the front end out for a gm 9.25? If there are any other swap options, I'm open for suggestions.
