bendix or centric brake pads and rotors are the brands i use the most. acdelco plugs only use the oem plugs or you will have problems. ngk will work too cause they make the plugs for these trucks.
what do you mean. it cranks slow or it runs slow and then revs up. if it cranks slow its just a weak battery. if it runs low "rpm" try cleaning throttle and maf. if that dont help it could be fuel pump related
cold startup idle for two min and drive at 30 for 3 min and 45 to 60 mph for about 4-5 min. i do this on a one way trip and turn around and go back to my shop the same way. NORMAL driving throttle usually cant go over 50%. rarely i have to do this more than once and all but one monitor have...
the plug that is best for these trucks are the acdelco 41-110 i think is the number. they are iridium and were made by ngk so the ngk plugs are good. you can however use a resistor plug for more power. champion is mainly used on chrysler and lawn mowers but are ok. autolite isnt too bad but i...
The wiring should be pretty easy. I do stuff like that all the time at my shop I am mostly worried about having to make new brackets and such. What abot the oil pan and oil pump. Did yours bolt on or is there a modification you did to make it work.
has any one put a gto/vett 6.0 into a tahoe or gm truck. ive seen differences in where the sensors are but thats all i can see thats stopping me. as far as i can tell the intake will bolt on and exhast and tranny too but not sure about compressor and alt. thinking of trying it
Best bet would run a relay to the ac relay for the fan to come on at the same time as the ac. The reason is high pressure in the compressor is bad. it will eventually ruin it. you can run the same trigger for the ac to the relay for the fans and it will work the same
