Go read my post about checking crossmember nuts and bolts to make sure they're tight. My 2000 Suburban made the same sound as yours is making and one of the crossmember bolts was loose.- tedv

You're going to say that I'm crazy, but shortly after I had a rear main seal on my 2000 Suburban repaired, I developed a knock that sounded like a loose rod. Following up from my November '17 post, I went to Lou Bachrodt Chevy ... my local dealer. The service department took photos and sent me to the body shop. Body shop also took pics and said they'd get the GM regional rep to look at it. Called for status a few more times, but 5 months later, still... -

Kieth, I didn't see this until today. On my Suburban, it's a 2014. About May of this year I noticed toward the back of the hood the paint lost its shine. It's November and the paint's become alligated in the middle of the hood and working outward. Same thing is happening to the roof. -

Checked with Chevrolet ... they said after 12 months from new they won't cover anything. They want 600 to do the hood. Haven't gotten an estimate on the roof yet. I'm hoping the whole paint job isn't failing. Did GM change the paint they use? -

I see this is an old thread, but will respond anyway. I have a 2014 Suburban in Moca Steel that has paint delaminated from the inside driver door handle. I've stalked ebay for DL3 switches for 3 months now and nobody is selling passenger switches with a driver side switch from salvaged. You would think with so much interest in swapping out for the DL3 option, that GM would be a bit more liberal about BCM flashing or selling the power fold... -

Will I have to get directional and puddle light harnesses do you know, or are they plug and play too? The reason I'm asking … some sites say DL3 mirrors puddle lights and directionals might not work on 2014. Also local dealer says no BCM flash if RPO isn't listed in VIN, so I have to find... -

Thanks, Keanen. I just swapped in a Homelink from an '05 Sierra/Silverado into the roof console because the burb didn't come with one. Had to determine terminal feeds for switched ignition and accessory light, and splice to ground, but the harness feed for Homelink was there … real PIA... -
