Good point. Ended up using add-a-fuse to wire up AEM afr gauge. That was a pain to find a true ignition-switched fuse but ended up using fuse # 75 (10A MISC IGN SPARE) and it works perfectly.

Thank you. I’ll do the caulk or RTV around the wire and grommet. I went through the hole in the original picture, I put a AFR gauge behind infotainment screen so didn’t want it being Jerry rigged.
Used screwdriver to get through, super simple. I just pushed through the next barrier, did angle a little towards bigger wire grouping and there's almost a slit from cab side I could feel the screwdriver then the fish wire once I put it in then after grabbing it, finagled it through.
