    Easy. Go with the 2020 since it has a brand new transmission and 4x4 I have a 2018 Premier 4x4 with 132k miles that I absolutely love but those transmissions typically go out in the 125-150 mileage range.

    Do yall use regular or mid grade gas in the 5.3?

    I have always used regular in my 2018 but on a road trip last week I had an empty tank and put mid grade and got alot better gas mileage. Outside of that are there any other benefits or is it a waste of money? fwiw I'm strictly a chevron guy and use the app/card for discounts.

    i have a 2018 Tahoe Premier and replaced my shocks/struts at 100k miles. Have 117k now and that's the only work I've had done outside of standard maintenance. The previous owner did have a leveling kit on it fwiw.

    Thanks for the response but I got it fixed. For some reason it just took replacing the old bulbs with the new ones which the video I watched didn't state. Weird since the old ones worked fine but all good to go now.

I decided to buy a new housing off americantrucks.com to install myself since I got a quote to replace around $650. The housing cost $150 online. I installed this morning but when testing it out it doesn't work...

    Well I've been traveling the last few weeks so finally got to call a local mechanic about the tune up. He said he would do oil change, differential, change plugs and wires and that's it. He advised against changing the transmission fluid because I wasn't sure if the previous owner had done so...

    I'm new to the forum and looking for opinions/advice on keeping my tahoe running smooth for another 100k. I just put new tires on it and I think I need a front end alignment done.
