Throttle body cleaner. Avoid getting it into the pivot pins of butterfly. Move the butterfly very slowly and gently . Have fun!

2015 Yukon Denali - Cleaned throttle body today

Hello all, Sharing some pics of cleaning my throttle body at 140k. I have never cleaned it before(on this truck) and was a bit apprehensive after reading so many say they had issues after doing so - high idle/ unable to get it to relearn…..I had no issues. I bought a new TB gasket, and went...

Don’t forget to flush your brake system - 3yrs or 45k

OP again. Just flushed at all four wheels today. It gets so dirty so fast…. 130k (30k interval) and about 1.5 years since last service.

Changed my filter and fluid on 8l90 8 speed today

OP again. Changed again today (fluid and filter) at 130k…. 31k on the fluid. It was still pretty red and not much paste on the magnets. Also, added the SureCool thermostat to lower trans temps. Good stuff!

I made it! 2015 Yukon XL Denali, , 300,000 miles

Hey tuffguy, at what mileage did you swap out the trans thermostat for the colder one? I was contemplating this, but not sure worth it at 120k miles. Thanks
