    Lifting a bit

    In theory keys will provide a stiffer ride. IN THEORY. I've seen some use shock extenders but I'd recommend new shocks. My old silverado was on blocks and keys. I bought all new Rancho shocks and just got them 2 in longer than stock. It actually rode better than stock.

    Thanks loudhoe. Thats the look I'm going for just want to use a slightly smaller tire so as not to throw my gearing off as bad. If I get the wheels I'll be doing spacers and keys.

    Autozone Spectre CAI

    I got mine at ORiellys. Didn't really have any fiancé issues. Got to get my exhaust done, with the cai and new plugs and wired I lost almost 2mpg.

    How much MPG's did you lose after lifting?

    I'm on stock 17s and 265 at's. I was averaging 13 mpg locally. I installed an Cai and new plugs and wires this weekend. I'm hoping for 15 mpg, exhaust and fuel filter are next on the list.

    04 Tahoe Speaker fitting issues

    Mount them to the top of the plastic ring. Should screw right to it. Also u cam pop the wore connection clip off the old speakers and use the to make a pigtail so as not to splice onto your factory wires.

    Don't know about the smaller lift, but I wouldn't regear for 33.
