    24/25 Diesel vs Gas Reliability

18k miles in a year of ownership on our 3.0 and no issues aside from a couple software updates at the dealer.

    Considering a 24 or 25 Tahoe/Yukon or Suburban

I’ll second everything that’s been said so far. My wife was really nervous about driving a suburban due to the larger size(came from a Honda Pilot) but it’s a non issue, they are very easy to drive around and the cameras help her. We only have 2 kids but the extra cargo is awesome, so much room...

New to diesel - help needed

Almost 15k miles on our 2024 Suburban 3.0 and absolutely love it. Oil changes are easy, takes exactly 7 quarts and Mobil 1 ESP X2 is Dexos D rated and available at Walmart as are the AC Delco filters. I did the oil at 4k and then every 5k since so 3 changes so far. Going to do fuel filter next...

    Diesel Question

I read the same thing prior to purchasing and I think it accelerates just fine.

    Dealer oil change $$$

I was going to start a new thread but figured I’d post in this one. I did the first oil change on my wife’s Suburban today at 3,600 miles and I want to say that they did a great job making these easy. I was pleased to find the drain plug wasn’t over a crossmember or anything and neither was the...

    It’s here

Almost 1,000 miles on it now, wife absolutely loves it and so do I. Such a comfortable cruiser. Only a couple gripes. 1. After parking it in the garage, it will randomly sound like electronics are coming on, happens on a regular basis. If you lock it then it stops. 2. The fit and finish...

    It’s here

It’s not even much of a price increase, less than $1,000 to go from 5.3 to Duramax when building.

    It’s here

This thing is amazing. You’d think the Duramax was a slouch from reviews but it will put you back in the seats no problem, transmission and engine are very smooth, love it, it’s an absolute pleasure to drive. The trip was only 90 miles, speed limits bounced between 55 mph and 65 mph, filled up...

    It’s here

I was not a fan of the red RST stitching based on pics on Chevrolets website but it’s much more subtle in person. My wife absolutely loves it. Going for a decent road trip tomorrow to get a feel for it.

    It’s here

Yes I will this afternoon, daughter has dance recitals today. A little background. We had ordered a 2023 LT with the same options end of July 2023 but never got an allocation, March of 2024 the dealer got a single allocation for an RST and they were able to equip with the exact same options...
