haha, ya me and a buddy were talking about the other day..not like my z06 brakes that fill up the whole damn inside..he was like man they are still gonna look small haha, with a 28" wheel you would need 22" brakes to make it look LARGE.
but i completely understand what your saying...
thanks NY tahoe. i will agree. i started with 26's on the NNBS and to me they looked great, but never filled the gap..maybe with a 3/4 drop they would be perfect.
however with the 28's and a 2/2 or 2/3 drop , its fits for the combination and doesnt look TOO over done...i get compliments all...
ok thanks for the help guys...got it figured out last night.
i tried the lock rod moving it up and down trying to get the door open..no luck.
so finally i said **** it, and just yanked the hell out of the outside door handle to even try and possibly rip it off. and on the third yank...
ok, i was doing the theft deterrent deal on my escalade and the ******* thing was working perfect, swapped the door handle and then i go to fill up gas about an hour later and boom. not working.
so no i cant get my door open..i have the door panel off about as much as i can manage, even...
thats whats up..i was thinking the same thing.
the mht i ordered i bleive was 30 offset...
yes, i had 26's on it at first. then through the 28's on it...had a few vids up of my stereo system
ya luckily in houston, the roads are pretty straight...and we definently pay the fees for keeping...
ya the mhts i got are going to be about 20mm inset more than the wheels i have right now..so they are going to be flush or actually a little inside the fender.
heres the wheels i have on order
as for lowering...i have no reason to go more than 2" unless i was to drop back to a 26" wheel...
that a great price..however i am worrieda about how hard that will be on my stock front shocks.
would it be a bad idea not upgrading my shocks with a lowering spring in the front? i know with spindles, the coil/strut is all the same as stock. so there is no need for upgrading the strut...
i understand your reasoning.
if i had my tahoe still, it would be getting a 2" drop in the back and calling it a day..however, with the escalade on AWD, it sits a good bit higher in the front.
i want to say its about 90% level as is...so we are going to do a 2" drop all the way around...
i have an 08 escalade AWD.
its on 28" rims, and about to lower it...i was planning on going with drop struts in the front and springs in the back with my previous 2wd tahoe.
however with that being said. the shop that i talked to today said drop struts are unavaliable with the AWD system and...
couldnt agree more!
appreciate it...first caddy i have owned
look forward to seeing a spread on youur truck once its finished, im gaurenteeing you will lock one down!
