Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

Well, I'm done for today. Made a few decisions though. The VHF antenna wiring will stay, will change antenna to UHF for a mobile comms setup. May still add CB, TBD. They also left the mobile Wi-Fi wiring, am going to get a Cradlepoint to use that spectrum. That will allow for mobile remote work...

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

So I think it may be getting power from one of two missing fuses. Underhood fuse 58 ALC/COMP (40A) or 65ELEC RUN BOARD (30A). will need to get those, and just see what I get. I did see some electrical components at glove box area after additional digging, but I am pretty sure it's only 3fusable...

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

Right now I have a thicker (10awg maybe?) cable interconnect I am chasing. It is the direct feed from the battery via 2 delphi quick connects. I have it snaking over the steering column, but I haven't found the other end yet. I did check behind the glove box, no dice

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

This is taking longer than I thought. I'm trying to figure out a plan for reusing some stuff, digging through other cabling. I have yet to find a hot connection through all this. But I have removed 5 harnesses so far, and identified another five-ish.

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

Today, going through the wiring. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't cover what was added by the installer, such as printer wires, comms units, accessory outputs, fuse boxes, the works. Fortunately, I have a pretty extensive history with shipboard electrical and electronics systems, and am...

    STINGER radio and secondary cameras

Hey all, one of my first upgrades I want to do to a new to me PPV 2014tahoe is put in a new radio. Current one does not have Bluetooth and is a basic radio/CD player. I have always wanted a Stinger setup, so I would like to go with that. Any installation things I should know? Part of this setup...

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

Well I think I'm gonna keep permanently the metal front console. Perhaps eventually changing the rear seat, but not sure how. Rear stopstick crate is amazing, well build, and soooo functional. The electronics box I'm not sure about yet

Hello from Washington, PICS City PPV

Hey everyone, first time owning a Chevy in 20 years (and only second time owning a Chevy. First was a '69 C-10, straight six, 3spd manual). Everything since has been Volkswagen and Jeep. Work and personal needs dictated a bigger interior space, so I got a PPV! 4 days owning this now, but here...

    Hello from Washington state!

Was a City PPV. One owner, so I'd assume it was only used in the one city. Auctioned, dealer purchased. Then offered and now mine. Already found interesting... Items. I did see the Police Technical guide, downloaded it (MANY thanks!) but today also found the owners manual and in the package was...

    Hello from Washington state!

I just picked up a 2014 PPV. Came with some goodies (metal center console less components but all wires plastic detention seats, 2 partitions, push bar bumper, working spot light, and rear stop sticks box and another box for wiring). I am new to owning any Chevy's, being mostly a jeep guy...
