    you will still have a fuse in the amp slot. let us know what you find out. do this before replacing anything!

    first check your fuse panel under the hood. there's a key in there so find the amp fuse and check that first. If its fine, move to the connections/plugs on the speakers. wiggle the wires on each speaker. let us know what you find out.

    thanks for all the input guys! i borrowed my neighbors multimeter and tested all the wires...turns out the oem connection/plug on the driver door speaker had a bad connection. I spliced in a new connection and all speakers work fine now.:slap:

    Yes i already have a harness as it was installed with the prior pioneer HU. All good there. I have a multimeter so i'll test the wires next to confirm i'm getting power to the driver side door. Thanks all for your input! if i can't seem to track the source, i'll take it in.

    It uses a interface harness and SWC. my test on that one was to plug the OEM HU in to the original harness, but that didn't have success with that. I took a look under my console and didn't see an amp or anything in there... just an empty void and a harness going to the rear seat controls. AND...

    to clarify, the issue started with the prior HU which ran fine for 10years. i installed a new HU hoping that was the issue and no luck. all wires exactly the same since its Pioneer to Pioneer. i also swapped the stock HU back in and no luck.

    2008 Yukon SLE here, no amp with aftermarket Pionner DD HU. I'm getting sound from all tweeters, but only the passenger side door speaker works. I get no sound from the rears or the driver's side. I noticed fuse 41 (30a) "amp" is blown. I attempted to replace it only to have it pop instantly...

    why not just go with OEM? i think thats what i'm planning to do. i've read that the monroe shocks will end up raising the front a tad.

    Is there a difference between "police vehicle" parts? my parts search keeps finding "police vehicle" lower control arms. and just curious how much life you guys get outta your wheel bearings? thinking i might as well replace those too. I'm at 115k. heck! maybe i'll do my struts too!

    unfortunately it looks like my ball joints are starting to squeal. any have luck injecting grease into the boots or am i looking at inevitably replacing them to stop the squeaks?
