96 to 97 4L60E Differences
I have a 1996 4x4 2Dr that had a cracked tranny case. I found a 97 4L60E that I swapped in. I now have a check engine light and a very hard 1-2 shift which I understand if the trouble mode for the trans. I found this: "what must be watched on a 1997 unit is the 3-2 solenoid.
