Where does it say that in the bulletin? Because that part number for the R1234yf states it has no dye. It seems very hard to imagine Chevy is going to go out of their way to add it. Any help pointing me to where it says that would be great. I’m trying to find a leak and need to know if it in...
A/C doesn’t work.
It slowly got worse over a year time.
Figured it had a leak and needs a charge. But wife drove it on a 2.5 hr trip and by the 2.3 hr mark it got cold.
Is there some thing clogged? Besides the front condenser which is clear.
Great write up. It is a good place to learn all about the system in a timely manner. Thank you.
I assume this is the same for my 2017 that takes r-1234yf coolant?
Thanks for the reply. I’ll did the same process and got the same reading after driving 30 miles.
I was just hoping someone would know approximately how many quarts over that is. That way I know, before I email them and let them know how they suck. What kind of service technician that works at a...
If you replaced it with another Chevy dealer transmission, then I would sell it before the warranty is up. Those transmissions are junk. Converters fail and eat the tranny up. Just dropped 7k on one for our 2017. Garbage.
I check it how the service manual says to check it when cold, since it was cold.
Running, level ground, hold break, go through gears, and so on.
But seriously? Even with a grossly inaccurate reading, would it be 1.75” above the hot mark?
Dealer replaced transmission.
Did a bang up job lol
Didn’t reconnect mounting bracket that holds the fuel lines up off of the transmission. When I am underneath there, I saw that the fuel line was rubbing on top of the transmission. Unbelievable. Also, there are two other harnesses underneath...
I have the phaser on correctly with the cam pin into the back of the phaser. When I tighten the phaser bolt down, it went to 48 ft lb very easy. It actually didn’t even turn an 1/8 of a rotation before the wrench gave way at 48 lb. and that was after tightening it down without the crank holder...
Thanks for the replies. I’ll go ahead and replace them. They just fit very tight, so I thought it might be ok. I did watch a few videos and it does look like the new o-rings, when assembled, do stick out farther than my used ones.
Man those holes are so gunked up. The can see where guys might...
