Anybody else less than enthusiastic about the direction Chevy is taking with the Tahoes and suburbans?
I see some feel the manufactures will not be changing backwards due to they designed it already.......have you given any thought to how much this has cost them in warranty work??? Valvoline Restore & Protect + Lifters…
Its more of a quality issue on the lifters. A bad part. They all go at some point. Good maintenance and clean oil it happens later than sooner. So you can piush it off but not prevent it. There are no 250K original lifter guys on this motor that I have ever seen. I have seen guys with 300-400K...- Seamus

Power lift gate struts

Buy a 1 or 2 owner 2015-17 130-180K mi for 15 or so sound like a plan?
Ive owned 15,16,and 17...6.2 with 8 speed......we now own a 2018 Ecscalade ESV 10 speed....ONLY way to go. Presently at 96K runs like a sewing machine. Sad Day - Moving on to a Truck
Our plan was to move to a Denali Yukon XL diesel a while ago. Already owned the Sierra Denali w/ LM2 so we knew it was a winner and had to get the 3.0. Its is a hens tooth ! Buying a 19-20 Escalade Platinum - What should I be on the lookout for? Known issues?

HPFP
There are a few guys on youtube who have had this exact issue. Car wizard was one of them. The HPFP leak into crankcase and cause codes and other issues. It is a maintenance item on these LT motors. Lug Nut replacement...
The lug nuts in northern states get a mix of salt and water that can ********* under the stainless steel cover. Then it swells and thats where the issue comes in. Socket wont fit.
